Yoga Etiquette

  • please arrive 10-15 minutes early to set up and begin to relax and decompress from your day
  • please turn off your cell phone so that you and others can enjoy a distraction free class
  • we ask that you kindly remove your footwear before entering the studio. This will ensure our floor is protected and clean for everyone to enjoy
  • refrain from eating anything too heavy 2 hours before class. Poses will be uncomfortable if your stomach is full and your mind will not be able to focus on your practice
  • to enjoy the full benefits of your practice, please stay for the entire class. The ending pose, Savasana is important to allow the body to integrate the benefits of the entire practice and allows you the peace and quiet that your body needs to heal and repair
